Modern Bosch e-bikes offer impressive motor performance. However, from the factory, motor assistance stops at 25 km/h (15.5 mph). On longer rides or slight downhills, this can feel unnatural – you keep pedaling, but the motor cuts off.
With the Bosch Smart System Tuning License Code, this electronic speed limitation is removed via software.
Activation is done conveniently from home – and can be reversed at any time.
Important Update (Please Read Carefully)
Currently, the maximum assisted speed is approximately 32 km/h (20 mph).
The display shows the real speed correctly (no halved values like with many tuning modules).
The manufacturer is planning a future update expanding support to approximately 40–50 km/h (25–31 mph).
Very important:
If you already own a license code, you do NOT need to purchase a new one.
After the update, simply:
Deactivate tuning
Reinstall tuning
→ and you will automatically receive the new features.
